We have recently completed these two very different projects to great effect. The relighting of the pool at the American Club in Tai Tam was a difficult technical project to achieve the local 200 lux requirements and at the same time dramatically reducing glare and improve visual comfort. We have also recently completed an outdoor bar area and Jacuzzi pool which benefit greatly from these improvements.
The Michelin 2-star Amber Restaurant and Bar (Somm) was completed with an international team of designers (TIHANY from U.S.A.) and consultants. Great care has been taken to achieve the aesthetic feel and balance and complement this immensely successful restaurant.

City of dreams, macau
Light Directions are working with many of Macau’s finest casino groups. Melco, Sands, The Venetian, Galaxy…… on a whole variety of projects from AWE inspiring gambling areas to international F&B outlets and retail extensive areas. We have just completed this a mid-size “Junket” with Westar for Melco at the City of Dreams on Level 2.
PLAZA 66, SHANGHAI
Working with KPF Designers, Light Directions helped transform this tired, but significant shopping mall in Shanghai back to its original grandeur and more. Along with creating a dramatic backdrop to some of Shanghai’s high end retail outlets, two office towers and some very special urban landscape were given the “beauty treatment”, with spectacular results both by day and night.

ENTRY TO THE BISTRO
Steered by the brilliant interior designers at Jepsen a prolonged refurbishment of the Kellet Island main club house of the RHKYC is now nearing completion. With stunning new meeting rooms, fitness areas and the “ship shop” already in operation. The reopening of “The Bistro” brings the heart back to the club in a culinary (and visual delight). At Light Directions we are proud of being part of the journey.
The Forum, Exchange Square,

“The Forum” between Hong Kong Land’s Exchange Square I & II has been cleverly redesigned by Aedas H.K. A new, modern, geometric cubic piece for Central at night becomes a reflective sanctuary of sculptures and water. The lighting by Light Directions plays an important part in its reinvention.
